Very poor experience with this broker on Load #43434.

I accepted the load at 8:20 AM after being told the load was ready for pickup. I immediately informed Trevor L. that I was 95 miles away. I arrived at the pickup location at approximately 10:20 AM, and the broker confirmed that everything was okay.

After arriving, I was told that the pickup appointment had actually been scheduled for 7:30 AM. This appointment information was not communicated to me when I accepted the load. I was then delayed at the facility until approximately 2:45 PM before the truck was finally loaded.

Because of the pickup delay and incorrect appointment information, I missed the delivery appointment at Dollar General. This was not caused by the carrier or driver.

The broker, Trevor L., rescheduled the delivery for seven days later. Despite the significant delay at pickup and the additional seven-day delay at delivery, no additional compensation was provided for detention, layover, or the time lost.

Even worse, after the problem occurred, Trevor Litt stopped responding to my emails and phone calls.

Carriers should be very careful with this broker. Make sure all pickup and delivery appointments are confirmed in writing before accepting the load, and make sure detention and layover terms are clearly documented.

3rd load with this broker, worst experience yet, never seen broker not care so much. Simple ignorance. Day 3 stuck, still can't get empty - 2 pallets were rejected, and the broker told us to dispose of them ourselves and provide a disposal receipt/affidavit of destruction, with no further instruction of where and who pays for it. Per broker "other carriers dispose of it for free and provide free receipts" - destroying freight that isn't ours apparently our problem.

Communication is also a mess: up to 4 people reply on the same thread, roughly every 2 hours, no clear point of contact, every time we call 10-15 minutes on hold, and they simply don't want to talk or resolve issues.

Be aware: rejected/ expired freight with this broker becomes entirely your cost and liability to resolve, with slow, disorganized communication throughout. Previous load legitimate detention requests were simply ignored and never paid.
Never had to deal with such an ignorant broker. On the 2nd day they reply with 2 words "donate it"
