I was assured from the carrier they would pick up on time the following day. 2 hours after their appointment I inquired about the status. They were heading to the pick up at that point. Not happy but figured they had plenty of time to deliver on time. The following day, dispatch told me they were 3 hours away from the delivery with 4 hours to spare. They went on to tell me they were not going to deliver it until Monday (this is Friday), because they didn't want to get caught in traffic. Very unprofessional to not try and make the cutoff with an hour to spare.
