The questions asked on this survey do not really relate to how we use ERL. We are a broker. We ship nothing. Our customers could ship any number of items.
ERL does a great job. The web site needs help though. The tracking is dreadful. I cannot believe that the tracking is not automatic and requires driver input. If you track a container, most will show departing NYC and arriving to Utica 1 second later. Same with delivery to the customers. I am using these dates and times for my PODs as this is the backup I have. An example is a shipment with a delivery appointment of 8:00am. The tracking will show arriving at 3:15pm and departing at the same time. One second to deliver a full container. Per the website, this load arrived 7 hours late. Delivery appointments are never entered and responses are usually "OK" and "REC." If I am asking for a delivery appointment, that means I am being asked. We need a little more than "REC" WE have never had any complaints of unprofessional drivers or the like. They are a good company and we are so happy they expanded to the south. But if you are going to have a web site and expect your customers to use it, the information has to be there and be accurate.
