We booked this load with the carrier on Thursday (04/09) with a scheduled pickup for the following day. The driver failed to pick up as agreed, claiming issues with another load, and assured us it would be handled on Monday (04/13).
On Monday morning, we followed up and found that no appointment had been scheduled. Our message was answered late, by which time no pickup slots were available. As a result, we had to cover storage fees out of pocket, and it caused delays that negatively impacted our customer due to missed pickup and delivery timelines.
This lack of communication and failure to follow through created unnecessary costs and complications
