Transalex, Inc. is a small woman owned, minority owned trucking company that provides services in the transportation industry. The owner began her trucking career at the age of 20 (before she was legal) and the day after her 21st birthday obtained her CDL Class A drivers license, traveled I-10 from East to West, was part of what is known as the chain gang (I-80, I-90 corridor in winter) hit every lower 48 states except South Dakota, tried the foods, shopped the flea markets/ antique shops and just fell in love with the road and being part of the convoys when I-10 through Texas was 55mph, the sense of freedom and camaraderie with fellow truckers when not many young women were driving big rigs, and the rest is history. There are no two days alike in this business and every day brings new challenges and opportunity for learning. Trucking is one of the most dynamic industries that always has you stepping up to the plate and every day it gives you the chance to feel like you saved the day.
