The Fair Companies consist of Fair Propane Gas Systems, Inc., Fair Oil Company, and Fair Properties, LP. The Propane and Oil businesses are both 3rd generation companies that were started in the 1940's by John S Fair. John S. Fair, Jr. came into the business in 1975 after serving six years in the Armed Forces. In 1999, John S. Fair III (Johnny) joined his father in the family business. Over the years, John and more recently Johnny have expanded the business and positioned The Fair Companies as a market leader in the gasoline and propane industries.
