Overview
The trucking division was a natural outgrowth from the grain business. Tom was hauling his own grain but saw the opportunity to use the trucks during the off-season. He began transporting dry freight. Boyd Grain trucks now haul everything from fertilizer to car-parts. The trucking fleet includes approximately 100 trucks that pull vans, dumps, tankers, flatbeds, and hoppers. The brokerage division launched in 2007 and is based in Evansville, IN. Warehousing was another natural outgrowth which now amounts to over 250,000 square feet of space. Tom's son-in-law Logan Graber now heads up these divisions.
