We had to pick up 25 pallets from a very reputable vendor in North Carolina. We used a broker who found us the best price with Schneider but it would take a while to get us. We have never had an issue with this vendor, so when the product arrived in disarray my team was surprised. I reached out to the vendor who sent over photos of the shipment prior to delivery and everything looked intact. When we reached out to Schneider they stated that they have no control on how the warehouse packs the truck. They just accept delivery. This lack of responsibility was shocking. Pallets and cartons were everywhere. Our team had to use extra man hours to fix the pallets and load the warehouse in efficient manner.
