I had a load that was hot due to delivery since a crew was being hired specifically to unload the truck. So booked this load with Royal Trans which was on Friday or Christmas weekend and was to deliver on Tues with 8am appointment. Going thru check calls I find out 3 hours after the delivery appointment by calling Royal (not them notifying me) that they are still 800-900 miles away and that their plan was always to deliver the day after the appointment cause the driver was going home for Christmas but when I had booked it with them they of course said what I wanted to hear to secure the higher rate. Dispatcher had that oh well not my problem attitude and made zero effort to fix or do anything about the problem. Its understandable if its mechanical or health issue but to book a load with a strict deadline for delivery knowing you arent going to honor it just cause your a greedy sob is the very definition of a bad carrier or a bad carriers actions. Never again will i use them on top of blacklisting them with my company and all over affiliates.
