The carrier booked a load that was picked up on Monday in Houston from 1-2pm to deliver in Emira, NY, no later than Thursday. We haven’t been able to get any updates on the load for Tuesday, and then we got an email from the carrier on Wednesday morning advising us that the driver's transmission went out and is at a dealers in Houston still. When we asked when the truck broke down, they said right after he picked up the load. We asked them why the picture of the truck fault code they sent to us shows Monday 8:31am on it. They said oh, he had the same issue that morning, but we thought we had gotten it fixed. We asked them why they had not told us about the breakdown for 2 days, and they had no reason. The whole time we talked to them, the story kept changing and worsening the longer we stayed on the phone. This carrier cannot be trusted to make or meet deadlines and will not keep your company in the loop. A lot of suspicious activity going on here with no real answers. We must go recover the shipment with a wrecker as the carrier can't be trusted.
