Carrier was booked on a load from Pueblo, CO to Bakersfield, CA and provided a p/u ETA of noon. The shipper contacted me at 2pm looking for the truck. Carrier made up a story that the driver had checked in but was told trailer needed to be cleaned. Confirmed with shipper there was no truth to the carrier's story and it only got worse from there. When I questioned the driver's location several times the carrier went dark with no response. I suspect they double brokered and never had a truck for the load.

I booked a load with this carrier and from the beginning I was hesitent as they already had a bad review. Well they did the same thing right at the time of pick up they canceled claiming issues with the truck. However, it was later determined they were trying to double broker the load and could not get the load covered.
