J&K Weers Trucking, LLC was founded in 2018 by Jay Dee and Kimberly Weers. Jay Dee has been a truck driver for over 24 years. Operating for other companies until buying his first truck in 1999. Jay Dee started hauling cattle and grain, as time passed he had an opportunity to haul different commodities including refrigerated goods and oversized flatbed loads of steel. This all led him to start hauling fuel in 2014. In the Spring of 2017 the owner of the company whom Jay Dee was leased to, was in a life-altering vehicle accident. Jay Dee and his wife Kimberly, who does the majority of the accounting, stepped up and moved the company's office into their residence and continued to operate it for the owner and his other employees. The owner decided in November of 2017 it would be in his best interest to sell the business. Thus, giving the opportunity for Jay Dee and Kimberly to fulfill their lifelong dream of owning their own trucking business. Hopefully passing their legacy to their children Weston and Josie.
