What went poorly?

Carrier booked an oversized load with us when they got to the shipper they took a legal load and never told the shipper they were picking up the oversized load. When we told the dispatch they screwed up they said oh sorry, that driver isn't available but we have another driver that can do it but he wants another $200 to do the load going 60 miles. Their drivers don't pay attention to what they are doing and when the driver messes up the carrier expects the shipper or broker to pay them more to make it right.
