This carrier engaged in unauthorized double brokering, in direct violation of our agreement. The load was improperly handed off to another party without our knowledge or consent.
As a result, the shipment was severely damaged and destroyed, causing a total loss exceeding $180,000. This not only created a major financial impact but also damaged our relationship with a valued customer.
Throughout the process, the carrier continued to run us around with misleading information and false assurances. It became clear this was a total scam, despite the fact that we followed all necessary precautions to verify and protect against such behavior.
The carrier’s actions demonstrate dishonest, unethical, and fraudulent practices that have no place in this industry. Their conduct was deceptive from start to finish, with no accountability, transparency, or integrity.
We strongly urge others in the logistics community to avoid working with this carrier at all costs. Tendering freight to them exposes your business to unacceptable risk, financial loss, and reputational damage.
