“No trucks, nothing but a Fraud! Just out double brokering freight as a carrier”

We contracted a truckload of lumber to this carrier in December 2024 to be transported for us. Everything checked out, Authority valid and in existence for over 6 months as well valid carrier insurance. Load was picked and delivered as normal. The actual trucking companies name stenciled on the side of the truck did not match Cross Roads, but our shipping point missed that. We were billed by Crossroads in a timely manner, he was paid them and moved on. About 3 months later, I received a call from a carrier telling me they had hauled one of our lumber loads, but was never paid. After much leg work and sorting out, Crossroads illegally brokered a load to this poor carrier but never paid them. At the end of the day, we have filed against them with the FTC and FMCSA and left negative reviews wherever we can, but it doe snot effect the outcome. Its too low level for the police to get involved in, so in the end, we as the shipper will pay out twice on this load to make up for Cross Roads fraudulant act.

This is not a real carrier. They have no trucks. This has been verified in person as the address they have registered is less than two miles from our offices and the homeowner has never heard of this company. They use a VOIP number and are based overseas.
