We rarely pick up from Ohio since we do not have a lot of vendors we work with in that part of the country. I decided to work with trucking company I never worked with before since the price was right and the ETA worked with us. However, Coastal Transport kept changing their ETA not only times of day but the date as well. When I tracked the shipment it should have arrived on 8/20 in the afternoon which is what we expected. They even confirmed day of. But when I reached out since the day was getting later there was no communication. The next day they reached out saying they would arrive midday. They never arrived. When I reached out the next day, I was told the driver went to a wrong address and I should receive it that day. The shipment finally arrived but hours earlier than they stated. We had to move appointments around last minute to accept delivery. Just no proper communication.

Coastal Transport ran a consolidated dry van load for us. Fernando kept us updated throughout the trip. Electronic tracking was accepted. Driver was on time for pickup and delivery.
