Carrier requested this load on Friday for a Saturday 8:00 AM pickup and confirmed they were good to go. Late Friday night, they backed out with a story about a “driver health issue,” claiming the driver was still 370 miles away from the shipper.
This appears to be a fabricated excuse to cover their failure to properly plan and commit to the load. The information provided does not add up, and it is clear the carrier was never in position to service this shipment as agreed.
This level of dishonesty and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Due to their misleading communication and last-minute cancellation, we were left scrambling to recover the load and risked a service failure.
Carrier is unreliable, unprofessional, and cannot be trusted. Strongly recommend DNU.
