American Eagle Auto Transport Corp behaved in a coercive and highly unprofessional manner at delivery.
The customer clearly informed the carrier in advance that she would only be available after 2:00 PM, and the carrier agreed. Despite this, the driver arrived around 10:00 AM, repeatedly called the customer, and demanded an unauthorized waiting fee.
The driver threatened to take the vehicle back to Florida if the extra payment was not made and refused to release the car even after receiving the agreed amount. The dispatcher was unresponsive and refused to communicate.
Due to health issues, the customer did not want to escalate the situation or involve the police and paid an additional $100 under pressure just to receive the vehicle.
This carrier ignores agreements, demands unauthorized fees, and behaves aggressively at delivery. Very unprofessional and not recommended.
