FTZ Warehouses

63 facilities

FTZ warehouses are built for cargo that needs to stay under customs control while it is stored, repacked, assembled, or re-exported. That makes them a fit for imported electronics, apparel, auto parts, industrial equipment, and other containerized freight that moves through U.S. gateways before it enters domestic commerce.

The strongest concentrations sit in California and Texas, with other active markets in Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, and South Carolina, where ports, airports, and border traffic keep trade moving. Interstate corridors such as I-5, I-10, I-35, and I-95 connect those gateways to inland distribution centers, while rail and drayage handle the handoff to final markets. FTZ freight in these markets tends to move in deliberate steps: off the vessel or plane, into bonded space, through light processing or storage, and then onward when the paperwork and timing line up.
